Andrew Carruthers

Principal Architect NSAA, AANB

Born and raised in coastal BC, Andrew started his career as an architectural technologist, focusing on refining his sustainable design and technical knowledge before continuing on to achieve his Masters of Architecture at the University of Dalhousie.

Andrew brings a wide array experience in design, construction documentation, project management, city-building, master-planning, programming, and sustainable design to institutional, commercial, and multi-residential projects. He is highly attuned to serving the client’s needs first, and finds great joy in finding efficient, pragmatic solutions to complex challenges, taking care through all phases to ensure design decisions reinforce the four axes of sustainability – social, environmental, cultural, and economic.

Andrew leads well-coordinated project teams where an emphasis is placed on communication and collaboration to meet and exceed project and client needs while keeping a clear sight of the bigger picture, from design conception to construction completion.
