Located atop of a natural promontory, this 16 acre site will ultimately contain 400,000 square feet of commercial space. The first building provides 60,000 square feet of LEED Gold office space with a single level of underground parking and establishes the campus relationship of building and landscape. The building’s expression includes a dramatic roof canopy that portrays a distinct image beyond the campus boundary. Against the courtyard, the building inverts its massing, setting back the lower levels to create a colonnade that responds to the pedestrian scale of a campus setting.
This 60,000 square feet office building is designed to LEED Gold Core & Shell. It utilizes several sustainable features including rainwater harvesting, energy efficient HVAC systems, solar hot water radiant panels, bicycle storage, changing facilities, electric car charging stations and reflective roof. The main features of the main lobby include reclaimed wood used for wall cladding and bench seating made from single pieces of trees.
