Mark Atwood

Associate Architect MRAIC, NSAA, LEED AP

As an Associate, Mark brings a broad range of experience to every one of his assignments, for all phases of a project – from early conceptual design, through construction documentation and on-site supervision. He has worked on a variety of educational, institutional, commercial, and multi-residential buildings and always looks forward to new challenges. His projects aim to combine visually stunning architecture with energy efficient, sustainable design.

Mark acts as Project Architect on Lydon Lynch’s most challenging projects where programs, logistics, sustainable aspirations, schedules and budgets are all balanced with great design that is always meaningful and contributes to better environments. He enjoys the interaction with clients, stakeholders and team members through which he subscribes, leads to better design solutions.

His professional design awards include two Lieutenant Governor General Awards for Architecture for his work on the Halifax Seaport Farmers Market. He has also garnered Nova Scotia Home Builders’ awards for several house designs and his work has been published in East Coast Living Magazine.
